Kaziranga, Majuli, Jorhat & Dibrugarh (6Nights/7Days)
DAY 01: Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (ASSAM)
Arrive Guwahati airport and drive to Kaziranga (250 Kms / 5 hrs drives). Check in Hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga.
Kaziranga National Park:
In the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment.
Note: This is for your information that elephant ride and jeep safari and forest entry are regulated and controlled by the forest dept. Govt. of Assam. As such we do not have any control for booking of elephant seats and entry by jeeps
DAY 02: Kaziranga (ASSAM)
After breakfast enjoy the Park on a Jeep. Evening visit tea garden and local villages. Overnight at Kaziranga.
DAY 03. Kaziranga -Nimatighat-Majuli – Jorhat (ASSAM)
After early breakfast drive to Nimatighat (108 kms to ferry ghat/ 2 ½ hrs drive) and then take a public ferry to reach Majuli (approx 1 ½ hrs on ferry). Visit the Sattras in Majuli. Later take the return ferry Nimatighat. Later transfer to hotel in Jorhat. Overnight in Jorhat.
DAY 04. Jorhat – Sibasagar – Dibrugarh (ASSAM)
After breakfast check out and drive to Dibrugarh (140 Kms/ 3 hrs approx). Enroute visit
Sibasagar including Borpukhuri, Shiva Dole, Ranghar, is 3 km away from the center of the Sibasagar Town. Kareng Ghar & Talatal Ghar which is near Ranghar, Joy Dole etc.
Later visit Garhgaon (Gargaon) which is around 15 kms. away from Sibasagar Town. Later drive to Dibrugarh. Overnight in Dibrugarh.
DAY 05: Dibrugarh – Dibrusaikhuwa National Park – Dibrugarh (ASSAM)
Today after breakfast we drive to Guijan Ghat and cross the River Dibru for day long excursion to Dibrusaikhuwa National Park, lunch will be inside the national park at some point.
Evening drive to Dibrugarh. Overnight at Dibrugarh.
NOTE: During monsoon Maguri Beel may not be possible.
DAY 06: Dibrugarh- Dhola Sadiya- Dibrugarh (ASSAM)
After breakfast drive towards Dhola sadiya Bridge (Dr. Bhupen Hazarika setu) on Brahmaputra river connecting Dhola and Sadiya which is India’s longest bridge 9.15 Kilometers. Back to
DAY 07: Dibrugarh Airport drop (ASSAM)
After breakfast check out and drive to Dibrugarh airport in time.
